  1. Start at DIDCOT ALL SAINTS
  2. From Church gate go right up Lydalls Road, left at T-Junction into Foxhall Road and third right into Manor Crescent, signed Catholic Church, for ENGLISH MARTYRS (0.4)
  3. Continue Manor Crescent to T-Junction with Wantage Road and Cross for BAPTIST CHURCH directly ahead (0.1)
  4. Leaving Church go left along Wantage Road, passing hospital and crossing A34. Enter HARWELL VILLAGE AT The Crispin and White Hart Public Houses and continue along High Street for c 0.3 miles before turning left into Church Lane for SAINT MATTHEW (signed) (2 miles)
  5. Return to High Street. Go back almost to White Hart and turn left into Grove Road, alongside barn. Continue for c. one mile alongside apple orchard and poplar-tree windbreaks. At T-Junciton go right onto A4130, signed Milton, and continue for one mile to traffic lights. Cross road here to use footpath for descent of Milton Hill, continuing on to Cycle Path to go beneath A34 flyover and to cross A4130 where it leaves roundabout towards Didcot. Stay on Cycle Track (still adjacent to wrong side of road) until entrance to Milton Business Park. Cross road to enter Milton High Street and continue for c 0.4 miles to METHODIST CHURCH on right (3.5), noting green-painted earlier chapel alongside it.
  6. Continue High Street for c 100 yards. At Admiral Benbow Public House go left, signed Milton Manor, for SAINT BLAISE (0.1)
  7. Continue into Manor Grounds for Manor House and CHALLENOR CHAPEL (0.1)
  8. Return to Admiral Benbow and continue High Street for c 0.3 miles until right turn for Sutton Courtenay. Follow Sutton Road, becoming Milton Road, for c. one mile. At mini-roundabout go forward into High Street and take first right, signed Village Hall and Catholic Church, into Frilsham Street for CHRIST CHURCH (1.4)
  9. Continue High Street until green triangle and go right into Church Street (B4016) for ALL SAINTS on right (0.9)
  10. Continue B4016 for c.1.7 miles to APPLEFORD. c.100 yards after railway bridge go left into Church Street for SAINT PETER and SAINT PAUL (1.9)
  11. Return to and continue B4016. About 0.4 miles after level crossing at end of Village cross round at stream to join National Cycle Network path 5, signed Didcot.
  12. Continue for c 0.6 miles alongside stream and under A4130. Then follow Path 5 signs with lagoon on left and, later, football ground to right, for further 1.1. miles until Cow Lane railway bridge. Go under bridge and cross main road into Station Road opposite. At the top of Station Road (T-Junction) go left into Broadway and cross road almost immediately for METHODIST CHURCH on corner of Mereland Road (3.2)
  13. Go right into Mereland Road, then first right into Wessex Road. At end go left into Newlands Avenue and continue for SAINT PETER (0.6)
  14. Return to Newlands Avenue. At T-Junction go left onto Broadway and at roundabout right into Foxhall Road. Take third right into Lydalls Road to return to ALL SAINTS (Signed) (0.9)
